Elephants eat a lot of food. In fact, they consume three hundred pounds (one hundred thirty kilograms) per day, but they only digest forty- four percent of their appetizing meal. Which takes eighty to ninety that is twenty- two hours of their day. Now let's get to what they eat. They are herbivores so they eat grasses, branches, leaves, treebark, and fruit. It is not shocking to see a tree being knocked down while it is eating. Did you know that they use their trunk to eat, drink, pick up things, breathe, and much more. Apparently, elephants that live in Africa travel a spectacular amount of miles to find food. I don’t think people can eat that much.
